“We are beginning our descent into Bangkok. Please return to your seat and fasten your seatbelt,” announces the pilot. In less than 30 minutes, your plane will land in Bangkok, the “City of Angels” and capital of the Kingdom of Thailand, also known as the Land of Smiles due to the kindness and hospitality of its people.
Once you have retrieved your luggage, head towards the exit. You will be greeted with a sign bearing your name (in front of DOOR 3). You will be escorted to your private vehicle for the transfer to your hotel (between 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic).

Located in the Samphanthawong district, you will discover this historic area, which is one of the largest Chinatowns in the world. With its narrow streets, colorful buildings, and numerous shops and restaurants, Chinatown is a real treasure to discover. You’ll find food stalls at every corner, offering a variety of dishes ranging from noodles to seafood to the famous satay meat skewers. There is so much to taste here that you might have to return several times to try it all!

You will join your traditional boat for a tour of Bangkok’s klongs (canals), which once earned the Thai capital the nickname “Venice of the East.” A river cruise that will lead you to observe the lifestyle of the residents of Thonburi (an old district of Bangkok on the right bank of the river) who live by the water and have kept many customs and traditions.
Stop at Baan Silapin. Baan Silapin, known in English as The Artist’s House, is a charming art gallery showcasing local artists and a cultural center located along the Khlong Bang Luang canal in Bangkok.
This picturesque and historic site offers a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle and provides an immersion into Thai art, culture, and history.

Centuries of history underpin the delicate movements and graceful arm work of traditional Thai dance. Discover this dance during an intimate introductory class with an experienced and qualified teacher at one of Bangkok’s original dance schools. Put on an authentic costume, including traditional nail extensions, learn the basic positions, and then try three dance styles to three different songs. Includes a snack, an herbal drink, and transfers from your accommodation.
Later, visit Wat Arun, the “Temple of Dawn” located on the right bank of the river. Dedicated to Aruna, the temple of dawn is perhaps the most famous pagoda in Bangkok. The prang, 82 meters high, is surrounded by a sculpted frieze of Khmer influence. It was built by Rama II and Rama III during the first half of the 19th century.

Visit the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keo. Wat Phra Keo undoubtedly offers one of the most astonishing spectacles in the world. It is a dazzling ensemble of golden spires, pavilions with multicolored tiled roofs, and statues that are both frightening and charming. Wat Phra Keo was built in 1782 by the first King of the current dynasty, Rama I, to house the famous Phra Kéo (Emerald Buddha).
The Temple of the Emerald Buddha houses the most sacred Buddha statue in the entire country. No one knows the origin of this 75 cm high and 45 cm wide statue, which appeared in the 15th century in the north of the country in Chiang Rai and was brought to Bangkok in the 18th century.
The Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, located within the Grand Palace complex in Bangkok, is an institution dedicated to the preservation, exhibition, and study of Thai textiles.
